I love stories! Mostly listening to other peoples’ stories. I love the ones that inspire, amaze, and move us to new ways of being; the ones that remind us of our innate power to say YES to a life fully lived, and challenge stale concepts of what meaningful living is.
I’ve been exploring personal and community-based storytelling since high school. I am continually amazed at how stories re-craft community and illuminate self-insight.
I received my B.A. in anthropology and education from Bowdoin College and my M.A. in applied anthropology from University of Colorado Denver. At UCD, I researched suffering-healing narratives, produced personal and collaborative visual stories, and completed the Center for Digital Storytelling’s Digital Storytelling Facilitator program. I’ve also trained as a reiki and holistic healthcare practitioner. To learn more, visit www.sacred-stories.com
